Reviewing a variety of projects we’ve completed with Haas
Haas Metal Engineering (HME) is a medal fabricating company based in Topeka, KS, that TGB Group has had the pleasure of working with on various civil design projects over the years.
Our team has often provided professional services to HME and has worked closely with the firm on surveying, design concrete parking lot design, site grading and many other of our core services to support unique civil design projects.
In 2019, HME extended us the opportunity to provide site and civil design for a trailer drop lot expansion project for JM Smuckers Company in Topeka, KS. Our work on this $1.7 million project involved:
- Design for a three-acre drop lot
- Stormwater drainage design including water quantity and quality design
- Stormwater management plan
- Instrument easements
- Construction staking
Additionally in 2019, HME brought in our team to work on Prairie Band Casino Hotel’s expansion project that included a new hotel, parking garage, administration building and associated site improvements for the existing hotel in Mayetta, KS. The TGB Group team provided topographic survey, site/civil design services and construction staking for project.
Another of our civil design efforts for HME involved the construction of a new machinery storage building for Bettis Asphalt and Construction in Topeka. We provided topographic and boundary surveys as well as construction staking and constructed drawing.
TGB Group brings expertise to all sizes and types of civil design projects
In addition to civil design projects for Haas Metal Engineering, TGB Group has provided engineering and design services for numerous other projects including a 10,000-square-foot building for Hoyt’s Trailer Center of Topeka in 2017. Work included topographic surveying, site/civil design, storm water drainage design, water quantity/quality design, landscape design and construction staking.
